Executive Suites
Our most desired accommodations are the Executive Suites, each with 630 square feet of gracious luxury featuring a four-poster king bed, a sitting area centered around a gas fireplace, private bath with oversized whirlpool tub and separate walk-in shower, electronic blinds, heated towel racks, Aveda amenities.

Junior Suites
Second floor Junior Suites were once the bedrooms for the family that built the mansion. Each has its own unique design and size, averaging a very comfortable 525 square feet. All feature a queen bed, a gas fireplace upon request, and private bath with oversized whirlpool tub and shower.
Third floor Junior Suites feature a king bed, a sitting area with a queen-size sofa sleeper and a private bath with tub and shower combination. These Suites are accessed via stairs.

Superior Rooms
Superior Rooms were also once bedrooms for the original family of the mansion. Each of these rooms is unique in design and size, averaging 415 square feet.  One of the Superior Rooms features a queen-size bed, while the other features two twin beds. Both have luxurious marble tiled showers.

Governor's Suite

Experience the warmth and elegance of the Governor's Suite (864 sq ft.), a luxurious two-room suite that reflects the charm of the century-old mansion.  The West Indies-influenced décor exudes a sense of comfort as you relax in the gracious living room with a gas fireplace, spacious balcony, and wet bar, ideal when entertaining.  The master bedroom offers a restful king bed, a second fireplace, and a private bath with marble floor and vanity, replete with an oversized whirlpool tub and separate walk-in shower.

Guest Cottage
Towering pines meet high tea and plush furnishings at this alluring yet unpretentious cottage. Within its almost 1,300 square feet of living space a rustic brick fireplace, surrounded by a cozy seating area, accents the spacious living room.

The master suite features a king-bed, private bath with oversized whirlpool tub, separate shower, and cedar-lined closet. Picture yourself warming up to the fireplace with your favorite reading, or simply relaxing in a plush chair on the forest-view back porch.

Pet Friendly Resort

Woodlands Resort & Inn provides the ultimate care and comfort for traveling pet owners, and their furry companions. From grand gestures to tiny treats, guests at Woodlands are delighted by the unexpected touches given their pets during their stay. Both cats and dogs are welcome. Pet owners can leave their pet(s) unsupervised while enjoying the resort’s dining and recreational offerings. Pets do not have to be crated or caged when the owner is not present. There are no restrictions on the size of pets accommodated. Housekeeping services are available with no restrictions. Woodlands’ pet-friendly amenities include: home made dog biscuits prepared by the Pastry Chef, pet sitter and walking services, and an L.L. Bean Pet Bed.
