Chef du Jour
Dedicated to one student at a time, the “Chef du Jour” is exposed to the culinary arts used by Chef King in preparing his signature dishes for the Mobil Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond Award winning restaurant such as Roast 'N Toast Swordfish in a Sourdough Shell, Lobster Cappuccino, and Coconut Napoleon with Milk Chocolate Mouse.
This behind-the-scenes opportunity offers a glimpse into the realm and workings of a professional Relais Gourmand kitchen.  Curriculums are tailored to emphasize those areas of greatest interest to the student.

Chef du Jour sessions run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each class costs $600.00 per student, which includes a three-course lunch paired with wine, a Woodlands chef jacket, and printed recipes. One guest or spouse can be added for an additional fee. Reservations can be booked up to three months in advance by calling 1-800-774-9999. Class schedules are limited and dependant upon chef availability.

Sunday Brunch for Two
Your guests one may choose from among five first courses, five main courses and a selection of desserts. Tell them to expect to see short ribs on the menu as well as lobster hash with poached eggs, smoked salmon potato lasagna with Meyers lemon or fried quail with black Truffle grits. A delightful three-course a la carte menu, complemented by panoramic views of the gardens, provides the perfect setting for those who you think might enjoy a more leisurely afternoon.

Four-Course Dinner for Two
Perhaps you’ll choose to treat your guests to our fabulous Four-Course tasting dinner. With at least five choices per course, they will be spoilt with a variety of dishes such as seared Walleye Pike, grilled Maine Lobster and Sirloin of Wagyu Beef. Just be sure to have them call and make their reservations.

For your slightly more adventurous friends, may we suggest our Five-Course tasting dinner? Our executive chef and award-winning culinary team thrill them with samples of our very best; such as Carpaccio of White Tuna, Maine Scallop and Foie Gras or a seared Loin of Venison.

Proper Afternoon Tea for Two
